Aircraft Carrier Midway - San Diego

Sculpture near the Midway aircraft carrier, now a museum, that I toured.

The impression was made truly poinant on my return flight.

The pilot asked that all passengers wait for the Navy escort to exit so that it could accompany the remains of a 20-year old from Minnesota who had died while serving his country.

Barcelona Old Town

A beautiful, old European, high fashion city, and one with a sense of humor if this shopkeeper's message is any indication.

Washer Woman Honored

Barcelonians favor small, family enterprises for their products and services. Storefronts are protected by pulldown aluminum doors which often reflect the services within–this one is a laundry/dry cleaner.

Barcelona - The port

Barcelona is a city of 1.5 million, a port on the Mediterranean Sea. It was host to the Olympics in 1992. The old port area was leveled and redeveloped for the event. The museum in the background reflects the interests of the locals - Catalonians which the dictator, Franco, tried to eradicate. 

Traffic Trade Show

My take on the ADDCO booth that I worked tirelessly to make a success since Christmas. We launched 5 new products and made a splash with our Spanish owner's LED display.

New Orleans - Trade Show - Feb 10-12

I am always thankful to exit a Minnesota winter. The trade show was great, New Orleans itself was another matter...
